Taiwan, Taichung mission: Week 35

Hey family and friends,

How's everyone week? I have a super busy week with appointments appointments and appointments. It has been a while since I've been so busy, which is good and I love being busy during mission. But I also love balance. At the moment, I felt like there are too many things that need to be take care and not enough time to do it each day. Good thing is I am working for the Lord and since He is the boss, I can be assured that as long as I've done my best within my power, He will take care of the rest. And Heavenly help is only a prayer away.

This week we have zone conference with Pre. and Sis. Blickenstaff. I love hearing from both of them. President showed us the Asia Area Vision and help us know what is the prophetic priorities  in Asia Area right now which are doctrine of Christ and establish the church through real growth. I am grateful that I came to a mission that not just focusing on baptism number but real conversion. During our zone training meeting, our zone leader asked us to write down 3 things that we hope to achieve by the end of mission. I wrote: Love the area, love the people there and love my companion. I want to be able to honestly said I love each area, the people there, and each companion. So there you go, put it out there so you guys can pray for me each night that I will be able to do that ;)

 Spiritual reflection of the week:
So this week I was reading in Mosiah (Book of Mormon) 10. This is what I get out of the chapter: - Whenever we are not keeping the commandments of God or doing a wrong choice, we feel guilty. If we don't repent it right away, our sins build up, and eventually our heart will be harden. That's why repent daily is important. As we acknowledge what we have done wrong and repent our sin daily, ask for God's forgiveness,  our heart will be soften and we will be worthy to have God's spirit to be with us to guide us in our daily life. I cannot imagine a life without the Holy Ghost prompted, warned and inspired me in this strait and narrow path to Heavenly Home.

So, at the moment, all missionaries in Taizhung Mission are giving out invitation to our ward members that comes from October 2013 General Conference (Elder S.Gifford Nielsen) to every member of the church:

1) specifically pray to bring someone closer to the Savior and His gospel every day.

2) pray for the missionaries serving in your area and their investigators by name every day.

3) invite a friend to an activity in or out of your home

I would like to extend this invitation to my dear family and friends who are church members. Non church members friends and family, I encourage you to find out what is Latter-Day Saints belief? I know your life will be bless and change that you will never regret.

Sorry, no picture this week. Just whole bunch of words ;)

Love you all, Sister Ting xoxo
