Taiwan, Taichung mission: Week 29

Dear all,

Thank you so much for your beautiful birthday wishes. Though I'm on my mission but I indeed has a wonderful birthday. I felt that the Lord is celebrating it for me too. Hehe. So, what happened on my birthday. I forgot it was my birthday until during morning personal study time, I saw the birthday card and chocolate that I prepared for the daughter of a bike's store owner (we goes to their store a lot to get our bike maintained.) who has the same birthday as me. It was a busy day as we have weekly planning and some appointments. It is basically a usual day. At night,  we went to the chapel for correlation meeting. When we walked in, we see the room has no light but we saw all other missionaries and ward mission leader bike were outside. My companion who obviously know what's going on, keep encouraged me to go in the room and turn on the light. As we walked in, the baptismal font's door opened all of a sudden, 4 elders and our ward mission leader were standing in the font, holding 2 birthday cakes (cutest cake ever~) and sang Happy Birthday to me. Sweetest birthday surprises ever! And Best district too!

One of my favourite part of mission is able to do service for people. This morning, we went to one of our favourite recent-convert's (He mama) house to clean up outside of the house for her. She is about 67 y.o and it will be too much for her to move heavy cabinets or clean up alone so we offered to help on our P-day!

It has been a really good week. We saw many more miracles throughout the week. I love being a busy missionary! I just love this work so much. Feeling like a VIP seeing this work moving forward~~~
Oh, since my camera SD card is being fixed, I don't have any birthday pictures for this week. I will included them next week.

My favourite quote of the week:
"When doing the will of the Lord, the obstacle in front of you is never as great as the power behind you."
I do know this to be true being out here focusing on His work and constantly putting His will first help me to see how powerful my Lord is. With Him, all things are possible. Same as testifying the truthfulness of the gospel to others. Many members may think to themselves, "I know this person, he/she won't be interested or rationalise, rationalise." I promised as we pray for help, put our faith in the Lord, open our mouth to invite (church activity, meeting with missionaries), you already success because you have done your part. The rest is depend on Lord and other's agency.

With Love,
